BERNHARD-AV regards protecting the environment and contributing to the fight against climate change as its corporate responsibility.<\/h3>\n

We pursue the goal of continuously improving our environmental performance, relying on resource-efficient, quality-oriented solutions. We have been EMAS-certified since 2015. Since 2018, we have been tracking our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, implementing reduction measures, and documenting the management of remaining emissions based on transparent criteria. Our Contribution to Reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 Greenhouse Gas Emissions<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

  • Since 2016, we source our electricity requirements exclusively from certified renewable energy sources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • We are gradually transitioning our transport fleet to lower-emission vehicles, with a strong focus on e-mobility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Any remaining greenhouse gas emissions from conventional transport and heating are financially offset through humus certificates from the \u00d6koregion Kaindorf, in Lower Austria. (soil carbon sequestration project). This statement applies to Scope 1 and Scope 2, as well as their respective underlying accounting boundaries; further Scope 3 emissions are not included.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n \n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

    For simultaneous interpretation systems, we rely on proven BOSCH technology, which is designed for continuous professional use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Our projectors, switchers, and HD cameras from Panasonic and Barco are noted for their robustness, long lifespan, serviceability, and energy efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Our transport logistics are designed to plan trips efficiently and minimize empty runs whenever possible. Our central location in the heart of Vienna ensures short travel distances to the city\u2019s major event venues. Furthermore, it enables us to respond to client requests with efficiency and flexibility. We only make statements regarding potential CO2 savings based on verifiable data and concrete comparative metrics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Resource Efficiency<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    We regularly review our internal operations with the goal of reducing energy and resource consumption. In procurement, we take ecological criteria into account and, where available and technically suitable, select products with recognized sustainability or fair-trade standards. We only communicate developments regarding waste volumes and recycling rates if they are reliably documented through internal monitoring or comparable proof.<\/p>\n\n \n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

    BERNHARD-AV holds an EMAS certification. We are among the first providers in the conference and congress technology sector to undergo the demanding, European-wide recognized EMAS environmental management system.
