This is how we achieve Scope 1 and 2 CO2<\/sub>-Neutralit\u00e4t<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

  • Since 2016 we obtain 100% renewable energy from a certified supplier, that means we use electricity that is completely CO2<\/sub>-neural.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • We are gradually switching our fleet of utility vehicles to eco-friendly alternatives, such as electric vehicles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • We compensate for the remaining CO2<\/sub> emissions (heating system and conventional utility transportation) with \u201chumus-certificates\u201d, i.e. certificates for a humus formation project in the Eco-Region Kaindorf, in Lower Austria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n \n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

    A sustainable business model<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Our business model is inherently sustainable and environment friendly: We rent out high-quality professional equipment designed for reuse, reliability, and a long service life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For interpretation, we use exclusively reliable BOSCH equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Our projectors, switchers and HD cameras by Panasonic and Barco are noted for their long service life and low energy consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We invest constantly in long-living and energy-efficient LED lighting technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For our high-end printers and copiers, we rely on Konica Minolta, a manufacturer committed to a very ambitious environment policy.<\/p>\n\n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

    Efficient logistics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    We are proud of our efficient transport logistics that avoids empty runs. Our central location not only provides maximum flexibility for our customers but also ensures short transport distances, thereby avoiding unnecessary CO2<\/sub> emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Using resources mindfully<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Through improving our internal operations, we use resources more efficiently. When making purchases, we are mindful to use ecologically or Fair-trade certified products, and generally make purchase decisions based on ecological criteria. Over the last years we cut our waste in half and nearly doubled our recycling rate.<\/p>\n\n \n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

    BERNHARD-AV is the first company in its sector worldwide to have been certified according to EMAS. EMAS stands for \u201cEco-Management and Audit Scheme\u201d and was established and is overseen by the European Union.
